Biography

Carl is a Director of South South North (SSN) where, in addition to overseeing a portfolio of climate related programmes, he is in charge of contracting, risk, and compliance. He was the Regional Director for Africa of the Climate and Development Knowledge Network (CDKN) for seven years and before that, led the implementation of Africa’s first Clean Development Mechanism project, the Kuyasa (CDM) Project, which introduced solar water heating and energy efficiency to South Africa’s low-income housing programme.
